Montessori at the School House is a quality childcare centre in Hamilton East, close to the University of Waikato, Claudeland’s Showgrounds and local businesses. The centre is based within a renovated villa to accommodate the Montessori philosophy.

Our qualified teachers work hard to incorporate many cultures from within the centre. Our centre has the privilege of having a wide range of cultures, this builds upon children’s knowledge of other cultures than their own and develops respect and love for the diversity and differences.

We are passionate about providing a quality programme that reflects the philosophy of Maria Montessori. Our aim is to prepare the environment in order to develop children’s independence and a love for learning. We respect the individual strengths and interests of each child and plan to support them further with this learning.

Empowering the children and Encouraging them to develop a life long love for learning.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide a stimulating early care and education experience which promotes the Montessori Philosophy. This in turn instills in children a belief that they can accomplish anything that they strive for, now and in the future.

You can log in to the secure platform wherever you are in the world to see what’s been happening in their day, check out photos of them and comment on their activities.
